Switchable Controller Update

Some customers may not realize that the switchable controller beneath the Infotainment screen toggles between Infotainment and Climate modes. Taking a moment during Delivery to show how it works can prevent confusion and create a more positive ownership experience.

Switchable Controller Functionality

• To switch modes: Tap the (↿⇂) button to toggle between the Infotainment system controls (A) and Climate controls (B).
• To set the default function: Press and hold the (↿⇂) button for 3 seconds to set the default mode. After switching, the system will automatically return to this mode after 5 seconds.

Switching Modes Using the Steering Wheel

In an effort to improve the customer experience, a change has been made to the Infotainment/Climate Switchable Controller on the 2025MY EV6 and 2026MY Sportage.

The custom button on the steering wheel now includes the option to toggle the dual controller.

Here’s how to set it up:

1. Press and hold the Custom Button on the steering wheel
2. A list of available functions will appear on the Infotainment screen
3. Select Infotainment System/Climate Mode Button (Switches Screens)

This update allows drivers to switch controller modes without taking their hands off the wheel—an excellent feature to highlight when showcasing tech and safety updates to customers.
