Your customers may want to use Wireless Apple CarPlay®* or Android Auto* to navigate or play music from their phone while on-the-go. Wireless support comes standard with the base audio infotainment system of many Kia models, so it’s important that you know how to walk customers through the setup process.

Note: Apple CarPlay®* is ONLY available wirelessly whereas Android Auto* can be used wirelessly or with a USB cable.

Wireless Setup Procedure

Note: Android* users must download and install the Android Auto* app from the Google Play* Store.

  1. On the infotainment home screen, select SETUP or press the SETUP hard key.
  2. Select Device Connections.
  3. Select Phone Projection and Add New.
  4. Connect your phone through Bluetooth®* and accept any requests on the phone to connect to Bluetooth®*.
  5. Once your phone is connected through Bluetooth®*, accept all the requests on your phone to connect Apple CarPlay®* or Android Auto* wirelessly.
