If equipped, be sure to show customers the convenience of wireless phone charging*! Demonstrate how to place their Qi®-compatible smartphone on the charging pad and watch the power flow—no cords, no hassle.

Using Wireless Phone Charging* (If Equipped)

  1. Enable the wireless phone charging* system via the infotainment screen by selecting Setup > Vehicle > Convenience > Enable Wireless Charging System.



  2. Place a compatible smartphone on the center of the wireless phone charger*. The location of the wireless phone charger* may differ depending on the vehicle model.
  3. The indicator near the wireless phone charger* will light up amber when the compatible smartphone is charging. Depending on the smartphone, the indicator may turn green when charging is complete.

Notes:

  • For wireless phone charging* to work, Push Button Start must be on, all doors must be closed, and the Smart Key fob must be detected within the vehicle.
  • Avoid placing other metal items near the wireless phone charger*
  • The smartphone must be Qi®* certified; if it is not, it may affect the availability, speed, or performance of the wireless phone charging*
  • Some phones will not charge wirelessly when connected to a USB port
  • Phone case thickness may impact the charge rate
