Kia’s Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) includes Lane Following Assist* (LFA/LFA2) and Lane Keeping Assist* (LKA), two smart features designed to make every drive more confident. What They Do Lane Following Assist* (LFA/LFA2) uses a front-facing camera on the windshield to detect lane markings and surrounding vehicles. Under certain conditions, it can provide gentle steering inputs to help keep the vehicle centered within detected lane markers. Lane Keeping Assist* (LKA) is designed to warn the driver if it detects the vehicle beginning to drift outside its lane without signaling. In certain conditions, LKA* may automatically assist the driver’s steering to help prevent the vehicle from departing its lane. How to Activate Both features can be controlled directly from the steering wheel: LFA/LFA2*: Press the Lane Driving Assist button once. The white or green indicator light will appear on the instrument cluster (A). LKA*: Press and hold the Lane Driving Assist button until the Lane Keeping Assist* icon shows on the cluster (B). Together, LFA/LFA2* and LKA* support drivers on the road. They don’t replace attentive driving but can help provide additional peace of mind, especially on highways and long commutes. Check out the Lane Keeping Assist* (LKA), Lane Following Assist* (LFA), and Lane Following Assist 2* (LFA2) videos on Kia’s Features & Functions YouTube™* Channel to learn more about explaining these features during Delivery or at the Service Drive. * Important Safety Information and Legal Disclaimers can be found in the link at the bottom of the page.
