Why Are Registered Apprenticeships Valuable?

Registered Apprenticeship is an industry-driven, high-quality career pathway where employers can develop and prepare their future workforce. They are industry-vetted and approved and validated by the U.S. Department of Labor or a State Apprenticeship Agency. A registered apprenticeship offered by Kia America, Inc. (KUS) is the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP).

Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP)

To help increase retailer service capacity and productivity, we have launched the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program. This program connects Kia retailers with former military technicians ready to embark on rewarding careers as Kia retailer technicians.

These prospects are transitioning service members, Veterans, and members of the National Guard and Reserve with 3–5 years (or more) of automotive, aviation, and other technical experience gained during their time of military service to our country.

KUS has engaged Educational Resource Systems, Inc. (ERS) to recruit, train, and place top-performing applicants with Kia retailers who enroll in the program.

For more information, visit the Kia VTAP portal at www.kiavets.com or email contact@kiavets.com.

As always, use KGIS to find the most current service information and thank you for supporting Kia Technical Training!
