Did you know that the Kia Access* app allows Kia owners to access their vehicle’s amazing features and services through their cell phones?  It’s true! By downloading the app and registering for Kia Connect*, owners can access features such as climate control, locking/unlocking, Find My Car*, Stolen Vehicle Recovery*, scheduled charging, and much more.  

The key is making customers aware of the app. During the Walkaround process, ask customers if they know about Kia Connect* and its great offerings. If customers aren’t aware of the Kia Access* app, review the benefits and help them download it.

If customers have an existing Kia Connect* account, ensure that their email addresses are up to date. Customers can update their information in the Kia Access* app by selecting More > Settings > Personal Information. There, you can help verify that the customer’s email address and other key information is entered accurately.  

Updating customers’ email addresses within the Kia Access* app will allow Kia and your dealership to send helpful messages to customers, including information about programs, promotions, and service action campaigns.
