KIA P2M Posts Favorite Check the Sorento Windshield Garnish 2023 Sorento pre-production model shown The left windshield water rail garnish on certain 2023MY Sorento (MQ4a) vehicles produced from September 18, 2023, through September 21, 2023 may need to be replaced due to a dimple on the left (driver) windshield water rail garnish (see image below). For instructions on how to replace the water rail garnish on these vehicles, see below. Replacing the Windshield Water Rail Garnish Identify the left (driver) windshield water rail garnish.Using a non-marring trim tool, remove the garnish.Install the new rail garnish by first inserting the bottom trim section.Starting from the top, work down to the bottom of the trim to secure all (10) clips using a closed fist. Check Technical Service Bulletin BOD321 (Service Action SA551) for details and remember to verify that the vehicle is included in the VIN range of vehicles that may require the replacement.
