Adjusting User and ADAS* Settings

Simulated Screen shown, Features may vary

For the best driving experience, it’s important that customers adjust the user and ADAS* (Advanced Driving Assistance Systems) settings (on selected models) for their vehicle.

To turn on, off, or adjust the vehicle and user settings, go to one of the following areas, depending on the Kia model:

User Settings in the Instrument Cluster (if equipped)

  • When the vehicle is at a standstill, shift into Park, turn the ignition on or put the Engine Start/Stop button in the ON position, and press the Mode button (A) on the steering wheel.
  • Toggle through the menu by pressing the OK button (B) up/down and select User Settings by pressing the OK button.
  • Select the sub-category of the item(s) desired to be adjusted and press the OK button to enter.

User Settings on the Navigation* System (if equipped)

  • When the vehicle is at a standstill, shift into Park, turn the ignition on or put the Engine Start/Stop button in the ON position, and press the SETUP key on the head unit or the SETUP icon (C) on the Infotainment System screen.
  • Press VEHICLE on the touchscreen to go to the Vehicle Settings and navigate through the selections.

Adjusting the ADAS* Warning Volume (if equipped)

The warning volume associated with the ADAS* may be adjustable on select models. To set the warning volume:

  • Navigate to the WARNING VOLUME section in the Drivers Assistance menu. Choose the desired volume level of the vehicle warning features.

Watch the Vehicle and User Settings video to learn more so you can explain how to customize these settings to your customers during Delivery or at the Service Drive. This video is available to watch at any time and can be shared with customers!

Sincerely,

Ownership Experience Team
