Adjusting ADAS* Volume and User Settings

Simulated screen shown

It’s important to show customers how to adjust their ADAS* (Advanced Driving Assistance Systems) settings and other features during a customer-centric Delivery. This personalization helps each driver fully benefit from the advanced technologies and features their vehicle offers.

Certain ADAS* features can be turned on, off, or adjusted from either the instrument cluster or navigation* system, depending on the Kia model.

Instrument Cluster

  1. When the vehicle is at a standstill, shift into Park, turn the ignition on or place the engine start/stop button in the ON position.
  2. Press the Mode button (A) on the steering wheel.
  3. Toggle through the menu by pressing the OK button (B) up or down. Select User Settings by pressing the OK button (B).
  4. Select the sub-category of the item(s) desired to be adjusted and press the OK button (B) to enter.

Navigation* System

  1. When the vehicle is at a standstill, shift into Park, turn the ignition on or place the engine start/stop button in the ON position.
  2. Press the SETUP key on the head unit or the SETUP icon on the infotainment system screen.
  3. Press VEHICLE on the touchscreen to go to the Vehicle Settings mode. Use the touchscreen to navigate through the selections.

Adjusting ADAS* Volume

On select models, the warning volume associated with ADAS* features may be adjustable.

To set the warning volume, navigate to the Warning Volume section in the Drivers Assistance menu. Choose the desired volume level of the vehicle warning features.

Check out the Vehicle and User Settings video on Kia’s Feature & Function YouTube™* Channel to learn more.

Thank you for your efforts to ensure that our customers understand the innovative technologies in their vehicles!

Sincerely,

Ownership Experience Team
Kia America
