Understanding Wireless Phone Charging^*

When you demonstrate how to correctly use wireless phone charging^* (if equipped), you’ll captivate customers with how easy it can be to charge their compatible phone while on the go.

1. Enable Wireless Charging System in the infotainment system.
   – Press Setup > Vehicle > Convenience > Enable Wireless Charging System
2. Place a compatible smartphone on the center of the wireless charging pad, shelf, or slot (make sure the amber light is illuminated).
3. The indicator near the wireless charger will light up in amber when the smartphone is charging.

• Depending on the smartphone, the indicator may turn green when charging is complete.
• For wireless charging to work, push button start must be on, all doors must be closed, and the Smart Key Fob must be detected inside the vehicle.
• The availability, speed, and performance of wireless charging may be affected by factors such as phone case thickness, proximity of metal items to the charging pad, if the phone is connected to a USB port, and/or smartphone Qi^™ certification.
