What is Kia Charge Pass?

Kia Charge Pass gives EV and PHEV drivers access to thousands of public charging stations nationwide. It allows customers to:

• Locate compatible stations from top charging networks
• Start and stop charging sessions remotely
• Track usage and pay right from the Kia Access app
• Simplify the charging experience—fewer apps or memberships needed
• Plan road trip routes, if vehicle is equipped

Best of all, Kia Charge Pass enrollment is free to any Kia EV or PHEV owner with an active Kia Connect subscription

Eligible Models

All Kia EV and PHEV models (regardless of trim) are eligible, as long as they have an active Kia Connect subscription.

NOTE: 2025 and newer Kia models come with 3 years of complimentary Kia Connect included.

Paying for Charging

Charging sessions started through Kia Charge Pass will be billed to the credit card on file in the Kia Access app, reducing the need for third-party charging accounts or separate payment methods.

How to Enroll

1. Log in to the Kia Access app or Kia Owners Portal
2. Select “Kia Charge Pass”
3. Tap “View Kia Charge Pass Enrollment” and complete the enrollment
4. Once enrolled, customers can start charging immediately

Kia Charge Pass connects drivers to thousands of stations nationwide, including popular charging networks like ChargePoint^®, EVgo, EV Connect^™, Shell Recharge^™, Tesla (with compatible adapter), and more.

The Kia Access app makes it easy to search stations by location, check charger availability, and even plan a route with charging stops built in.
