2024 Seltos SX shown

With the launch of the 2024 Seltos, it’s a great time to review its Important to Explain (ITE) features. One of the features you should be familiar with is Idle, Stop & Go (ISG) which is standard on the LX, S, and EX trims. Read on to become familiar with this feature so you may explain its operation during delivery or on the service drive.

Idle, Stop & Go (ISG) is available on the 2024 Seltos, Soul, and Telluride. It can help reduce fuel consumption and emissions by automatically shutting down the engine when the vehicle is at a standstill. Let’s review its operation.

Idle, Stop & Go (ISG) Operation:

  • ISG is active by default at vehicle start-up. By pressing the ISG Off Button (B), it is deactivated.
  • An ISG indicator on the instrument cluster (A) illuminates green when the engine is auto stopped.
  • The ISG Off Button (B) is located on the center console of the Telluride, and on the left side of the steering wheel on the driver’s panel of the Soul and Seltos.

Note: Image shown is the Seltos ISG Off Button location. For illustrative purposes only. Actual display, buttons, and/or features may vary by model.
