The 2024 EV6 offers many innovative technologies, including an available Augmented Reality Head Up Display*, or AR HUD*, that projects information onto the vehicle’s windshield. These projections give the driver another way to see and receive various warnings and information from several systems.
Let’s take a look at the different systems, including specific AR features, customers may expect to see projected on-screen with the AR HUD* that comes standard on the GT-Line and GT trims.
Systems:
- Navigation* support, such as:
- Turn by Turn (TBT) navigation* information (AR)
- Traffic information
- Speedometer information
- Cruise Control Assist information, such as:
- Control de crucero inteligente* (SCC) set speed and vehicle distance information

- Highway Auto Speed Change information
- Lane Assist information such as:
- Lane safety information (AR)
- Lane Following Assist* (LFA)
- Lane Change Assist* (LCA)
- Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist* (FCA) features, including:
- Junction Crossing
- Lane Change Oncoming
- Lane Change Side
- Evasive Steering Assist
- Blind-Spot Assist
- Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist-Rear* (BCA-R)
- Blind-spot safety information
- Front Vehicle Indicator (AR)
- Lead Vehicle Departure Alert* (LVDA)(AR)
Features marked with AR have specific augmented reality capabilities, in addition to the standard Head Up Display* functionality. It’s important to demonstrate how to deactivate these features for your customers.
ACTION STEPS
- Press User Settings on the infotainment screen
- Seleccionar Head Up Display
- Seleccionar Display Mode
- Choose Augmented Reality Display → Standard Display or Disable Head Up Display
