Vehicle Camera Cleanliness

Kia vehicles contain a number of driver assist systems that rely on cameras to function properly. When dirt or any foreign material covers the camera, the performance of these systems may be adversely impacted. Cleaning the cameras also gives drivers improved visibility on the head unit screen.

Share these tips with your customers to keep the cameras clean:

1. When cleaning the backup, side view or front-view cameras (if equipped), use a car wash-specific product and a microfiber cloth.
2. Do not spray camera with a high-pressure washer.
3. Do not use any cleanser containing acid or alkaline detergents.
4. Do not use solvents like gasoline or acetone.
