Setting up Wireless Apple CarPlay^®* & Android Auto^™*

Your customers may want to use Wireless Apple CarPlay^®* or Android Auto^™* to navigate or play music from their phone while on-the-go. Wireless support comes standard with the base audio infotainment system of many Kia models, so it’s important that you know how to walk customers through the setup process.

Note: Apple CarPlay^®* is ONLY available wirelessly whereas Android Auto^™* can be used wirelessly or with a USB cable.

Wireless Setup Procedure

Note: Android^™* users must download and install the Android Auto^™* app from the Google Play^™* Store.

1. On the infotainment home screen, select SETUP or press the SETUP hard key.
2. Seleccionar Device Connections.
3. Seleccionar Phone Projection and Add New.
4. Connect your phone through Bluetooth^®* and accept any requests on the phone to connect to Bluetooth^®*.
5. Once your phone is connected through Bluetooth^®*, accept all the requests on your phone to connect Apple CarPlay^®* or Android Auto^™* wirelessly.
6. Seleccionar OK to enable Wireless Apple CarPlay^®* / Android Auto^™*.
