Additional Features of the EV6 Regenerative Braking^* System

In addition to the basic functions of EV6’s adjustable regenerative braking^* system, you should also be knowledgeable of its more advanced features. By familiarizing yourself with these technologies and how to use them, you’ll ensure your EV customers drive off the lot with all their questions answered!

Smart Regeneration System^*

The Smart Regeneration System^* automatically adjusts the regenerative braking^* level based on a vehicle being detected in front. It helps minimize the operation of the brake and acceleration pedals, helping to improve vehicle efficiency and assist the driver.

To activate:

• Pull and hold the right-side paddle
• AUTO will appear in the REGENERATIVE BRAKING^* level icon on the INSTRUMENT CLUSTER
  • If a vehicle isn’t detected in front, the AUTO indicator will be white, meaning it’s in STANDBY

• When a vehicle is detected, AUTO will turn blue, meaning the system is ACTIVE
• After entering AUTO, the minimum deceleration can be set to the driver’s preference by using the paddles

To deactivate:

• Pull and hold the right-side paddle for more than one second

i-PEDAL^*

To activate:

• Pull the left-side paddle to LEVEL THREE regenerative braking^*
• Pull the left-side paddle once again to MAX
• The i-PEDAL^* indicator symbol will be illuminated on the instrument cluster

To deactivate:

• Pull the right-side paddle to decrease to the preferred level of regenerative braking^*
