Global ADAS Volume and User Settings

Simulated screen shown.

During the vehicle orientation process, take a few moments to show customers how to personalize their Advanced Driver Assistance Systems* (ADAS) and other vehicle settings. A quick walkthrough not only improves the customer experience but also helps them feel more confident using their new vehicle’s features.

On select Kia models, the ADAS* warning volume can be adjusted to the driver’s preference.

Adjusting Settings via the Instrument Cluster*

  1. Ensure the vehicle is at a standstill and shifted into Park.
  2. Turn the ignition ON or press the Engine Start/Stop button to the ON position.
  3. Press the Mode button (A) on the steering wheel.
  4. Toggle through the menu by toggling up or down using the OK button (B) and select User Settings by pressing the button.
  5. Choose the sub-category for the setting you’d like to adjust and press OK (B) to confirm.

To adjust the ADAS* Warning Volume, navigate through the following menu path: Driving Assistance → Warning Methods → Warning Volume

Adjusting Settings via the Infotainment Screen*

  1. Ensure the vehicle is at a standstill and shifted into Park.
  2. Turn the ignition ON or press the Engine Start/Stop button to the ON position.
  3. Press the SETUP key on the head unit or select the SETUP icon on the Infotainment System screen.
  4. From the touchscreen, select Vehicle to enter Vehicle Settings mode.

(*Features and menu layouts may vary by model and head unit.)

Taking an extra minute during delivery to demonstrate these personalization options helps customers feel more comfortable and engaged with their vehicle’s technology and can reduce future “how-to” questions.

Check out the Vehicle and User Settings video on Kia’s Features & Functions YouTube™* Channel to learn more about explaining these features during Delivery or at the Service Drive.
