Folding 2nd-Row Seats

Overview

Depending on the 2025MY model, the process of folding the 2^nd-row seats may vary. Take the time to familiarize yourself with the different methods of folding the 2^nd-row seats (if available) by model so you can better explain to customers during the delivery process.

Folding the 2nd-Row Seat

Seatback Folding Lever in Trunk

• Available on K4 (except LX trim) and K5
• There are two levers located in the trunk area that control the left and right sides of the rear seat

Seatback Folding Lever on Top of Seat

• Available on Seltos, Niro, and Soul
• Lever is located on the top corner of the left and right seats

Seatback Folding Lever on Side of Seat

• Available on Sorento, Sportage, Telluride, Carnival, EV6, and EV9
• Lever is located on the side of left and right seats

Seatback Folding Lever on Left and Right of Cargo Area

• Available on Sportage and EV6
• Lever is located on the left and right sides of the cargo area

Seatback Folding Switch on Left or Right Side of Cargo Area

• Available on Telluride and EV9
• Depending on the model, the switch is located on the left or right side of the cargo area

Seatback Folding Straps

• Available on EV9 (red straps) and Carnival (black straps)
• Straps are located on the bottom left/right side of the 2^nd-row seats
• On the EV9 (if equipped), you also have the ability to fold or unfold the 2^nd-row seats from the infotainment system screen by selecting Seats > 2^nd-Row Seats Fold/Unfold from the home screen
