Did you know customers can now customize their vehicle more than ever? With available Digital Features and Services*, customers can purchase new features and enhancements for their vehicle from the new Kia Connect* Store via the Kia Access* app or on the Kia Owner’s Portal. Currently available on the EV9, these features offer customers more options to personalize their driving experience, including:

  • Remote Smart Parking Assist 2* (RSPA2): Designed to help navigate parallel, perpendicular, or diagonal parking spaces with the touch of a button.
  • Boost*: Provides additional torque for quicker acceleration.
  • Lighting Pattern*: Allows customization of the lighting pattern that appears when approaching the vehicle.
  • Premium Data Services*: Offers personalized music streaming (Amazon Music paid subscription required) and a Wi-Fi Hotspot* Powered by Verizon* for up to 5 devices.

Adding a Digital Feature or Service

  1. Navigate to the Kia Access* app or the Kia Owner’s Portal to visit the Kia Connect* Store to select and purchase any features or services.
    Note: Costs vary—some require a monthly or annual subscription, while others may be purchased for a one-time fee.
  2. Once purchased, Over-the-Air (OTA) updates will deliver the feature wirelessly to the vehicle and download it automatically in the background.
  3. When the feature is ready to be installed, a prompt will pop up on the infotainment screen for the owner to approve and start the installation.
  4. To check the install status while safely parked, briefly press the START/STOP or POWER button and the completion percentage will display.
    a. Depending on the feature, the system may prevent the driver from starting or driving the vehicle until installation is complete.
    b. If the system detects an issue, it will stop the installation and may call for Roadside Assistance*.
  5. When installation is complete, a QR code will appear on the infotainment screen that can be scanned to see the details of the new feature.
