New Video: Accessing EV9’s 12V Battery

In the case of a dead battery or similar issue, it’s important for both you and your customers to understand how to access EV9’s 12V battery. Located under the hood, it takes just a few quick steps to access it manually.

ACTION STEPS

1. Manually Unlocking the Vehicle
   a. Have the emergency physical key prepared.
   b. Press on the left side of the driver’s door handle and pull it out.
   c. On the bottom of the handle, remove the keyhole cover and insert the key, rotating it counterclockwise to open the door.
2. Opening the Hood
   a. Inside the vehicle, to the left of the steering column, remove the trim cover with the symbol of a vehicle with an open hood.
   b. Pull the lever twice to fully unlock the vehicle hood.
   c. Open the hood and remove the plastic covers from the bottom of the storage area to reveal the battery access.

Once these steps are completed, you will be able to access the 12V battery terminals and connect jumper cables to charge it back up.
