It’s critical that you promote the expertise of the Kia Service Department. They play an important part in the customer’s journey, especially when it comes to service satisfaction and potential future sales.

Introducing customers to the Service Department provides peace of mind that their new vehicle will be well cared for and maintained properly.

Here are a few steps you can take to ensure the customer feels at home in the Service Department:

  • Introduce the customer to the Service Manager; make sure they leave with a business card.
  • Show the customer where and how to pull into the service reception drive.
  • Discuss the benefits of your dealership’s factory-trained Technicians and use of genuine Kia Parts and Accessories.
  • Review service hours and any amenities your dealership may offer.
  • Review the Maintenance Information in the Owner’s Manual/Warranty & Consumer Information Manual with the customer (found in their glovebox/KGIS).
  • Set up the first service appointment with your customer during the delivery process.

Remember, Sales sells the first car, Service sells the next.
