Customizing Charge Schedules with Your Customers

One benefit of owning an EV is scheduled charging. Customers can use the Kia Access^* app or the in-vehicle infotainment screen to schedule their EV to charge.

Kia Access^* App (to schedule remotely):

1. To begin, on the app home screen, scroll down to Kia Connect Features. Select Remote Charge Schedule to open the menu.
2. Set up Departure Times by opening the Departure Time menu. Select the time and day that schedule should be active and customize multiple departure slots. Once selections are made, select DONE.
3. To set up charging times, select Charge Settings to open the menu. Once selections are made, select DONE.
4. To set the charging schedule, return to the Remote Charge Schedule, select SAVE and the charging schedule will be set.

Infotainment Screen (to schedule from the vehicle):

1. Begin by selecting EV on the home screen.
2. Schedule the desired departure time by selecting NEXT DEPARTURE.
   Note: Charging can only be scheduled after the NEXT DEPARTURE time has been set.
3. Set the time desired time for charging using the SCHEDULED CHARGING AND CLIMATE screen.
4. Set the preferred start and end charging times by selecting the SETTINGS icon. Select OK to save.
   Note: Charging will not begin until the set time.
5. The indicator light will blink from the first level to the last for about 3 minutes to indicate that Scheduled Charging has been set.
